It is estimated that there are at least 150 million homeless people in the world, including more than 650,000 in the United States. In a state alone with more than 25,000 homeless people on the streets of Texas, Houston still faces a crisis with 3,270 people living homeless and lacking critical support.
But there are still 308,038  Houston households experiencing homelessness, poverty, unemployment and at risk of becoming homeless. The Village Connect seeks to support this vulnerable group.
