This is where is starts! In light of the recent concerns between law enforcers and citizens, there is a lack of communication and understanding between groups. However, we had the most amazing meeting yesterday with Sergeant Farquhar from the Differential Response Team of the Houston Police Department. Among their service in keeping crime off the street, HPD is actively working to address homelessness in Houston, TX. We got the chance to speak with Sergeant Farquhar about serious issues ranging from poverty, drug use, human rights, and public safety in Houston. So excited to support our community together with HPD! Go team!
